Covid-19 Policy and Procedures Guidelines

Our employees must immediately report any concerns regarding exposure to COVID – 19 to the Service Supervisor whether the potential exposure has occurred through providing patient care, travel, handling a contaminated object or cleaning a contaminated environment.


Upon receipt of a report of potential exposure from an employee or client the Service Supervisor must take the following immediate actions and fully document: 

  1. The circumstances surrounding the potential exposure as reported;

  2. Whether the employee/client is experiencing any symptoms such as fever, cough, or      shortness of breath. 



The Service Supervisor should instruct the employee/client to immediately contact his or her health care provider by phone for guidance in seeking medical attention. 


The Service Supervisor should report potential exposure to the Local Health Dept. 


The Service Supervisor should instruct the employee to remain out of the workplace and immediately cease client visits until further notice.


All staff in the office are to work within approximately 6 feet from other staff if in the office for a prolonged period of time and wear protective face covering when coming in close contact with one another. 


  •   When you know or suspect you have any respiratory infection, temperatures greater than 101 degrees Fahrenheit, or a persistent cough, please report this to the Service Supervisor and kindly cancel your service until you have been advised by your physician to resume services.

  •  IF YOU ARE SICK DO NOT REPORT TO YOUR CLIENT’S HOME

  •  When you know or suspect you have any respiratory infection, temperatures greater than 101 degrees Fahrenheit, or a persistent cough, please report this to the Service Supervisor. Do not report to work until you have been advised by your physician to return to work.

  • Wear protective face covering when in client’s home providing care

  • Wash your hands before and after all client contact, before putting on and upon removal of PPE
